Three Bath-tub Poems

Sophie Drew

me ride sheep and you ride sheep
and daddy ride sheep and we ride
kangaroos at the kazoo
and we ride elephants and they go for a walk
and there's a bad man and he yells
at his parents and he goes under the mud
and finds a bug and me makes the bugs sad
and then he splashes his mom and dad

11/11/99

once a time there was nobody in the house
nobody in the shower
nobody in the bathtub
somebody knock on the door and there was a policeman
in a box there was a bone for a dog to eat
there was a pancake
pop-up there was the sun
there was a bug up in the sky
there was a spider
nobody in the house
nobody in the shower
where the person go? I don't know
nobody in the house said the girl
nobody in the shower
nobody in the bathtub
because we ate and a person come
and kissed me on my leg

11/20/99

once a time there was a slipper who talked
and there was a beautiful butterfly
a big mean guy came with a lady who danced on the pillows
one fell me
once a time there was a lady who bounced
A B C D H Y J K M O P
the pen started to cry
and the baby cried and the people cried
waaa waaa
where the puppets go? and what happened? what happened?
where the lady popped on the bed?
